What you will learn & why you should attend...
In many divorces, retirement plans are the
parties’ most significant asset. Family law attorneys need to take the time to
find out the details of the parties’ various retirement assets. Failure to do so
can lead to problems both during negotiations, drafting of settlement
agreements, requests for relief during trial, and after the divorce.
This program, designed for attorneys with basic and intermediate levels of
experience, will address a wide variety of issues concerning retirement plans so
that family law attorneys can properly represent their clients throughout the
divorce process.
