A full day of seminars taught by experienced practitioners covering a broad array of topics relating to the Internet, computers and intellectual property law and litigation, with a focus on issues related to advertising and conducting business over the Internet. Topics include e-discovery, advertising issues, spam, blogging, rights of publicity, IP agreements, Internet law, domain names and trademarks, software protection, privacy law, and patent infringement - designed in tracks for litigators, in-house counsel, business lawyers, and attorneys both experienced in IP law, and those who want a better general overview.

Mr. Baeza is a Senior Associate with Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. His practice encompasses patent prosecution, licensing and litigation. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and in Maryland, Virginia, and D.C.

Ms. Flax concentrates her practice on counseling clients on trademarks, domain names, Internet law and licensing. She has more than 20 years of experience litigating trademark infringement and unfair competition cases and domain name disputes. She regularly lectures on trademark law and has published several articles on related topics.

Mr. Hale is a partner at Astrachan Gunst Thomas, P.C. Mr. Moffet is the chair of Gordon Feinblatt’s Electronic Discovery Practice Group. Mr. Moffet represents financial institutions from national banks to mortgage lenders in consumer class action litigation.
