What you will Learn and Why You Should Attend . . .

As of October 1, 2007, a new cause of action exists to sue for employment discrimination in Maryland State Courts. But to get there it is essential to file a charge of discrimination with the federal, state or local fair employment practice (FEP) agency having jurisdiction over the claim. Whether you represent employers or employees, navigating the requirements of Maryland’s various anti discrimination agencies requires knowledge and skill. This full day program brings together representatives from Maryland’s most active FEP agencies, as well as representatives of the plaintiff and defense bar, to provide you with up to date information and recent developments you need to be an effective advocate for your clients.
