WHAT YOU WILL LEARN AND WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND

Good attorneys can and do make mistakes, especially in a competitive, fast paced work environment. Bar Wars: The Client Strikes Back! – Ethics and Risk Management for Lawyers will review some of the most important Rules of Professional Conduct and offer guidance on how to avoid the most common ethical and malpractice danger areas. Specific topics to be addressed include conflicts
of interest, client selection, self-promotion, responding to a disciplinary complaint, and what to do (and what not to do) in court. In addition, our outstanding faculty will discuss the revisions to the Maryland Rules of Professional Conduct, including Rule 1.15 Safekeeping of Property, and how these revisions will affect your practice. Get up-to-date on all of the recent revisions and have your specific questions answered by attending Bar Wars: The Client Strikes Back! – Ethics and Risk Management for Lawyers.
