WHAT YOU WILL LEARN . . .
Once considered an exotic branch of estate planning, asset protection planning is an integral part of the estate planning process. Both share the same goal of protecting a client’s property for the future use of the client’s beneficiaries. In an increasingly litigious environment, planning to preserve assets from future potential creditors becomes as significant as planning to avoid or minimize death taxes. This course will equip the estate planning practitioner to identify the hazards surrounding such planning and it will explore asset protection planning that utilizes advanced estate planning techniques.
