The Advanced Bankruptcy Institute is an advanced course addressing business bankruptcy issues.  Join our outstanding faculty as they review developments in case law and bankruptcy rules in Maryland and on a national level, as well as several cutting edge issues affecting the business bankruptcy practitioner.  A hypothetical fact pattern will be used to address a variety of issues that arise in a Chapter 11 filing including  section 363 sales, debtor strategy, secured creditor strategy, second lien holder strategy, creditors’ committee strategy, bidding procedures/break up fee/stalking horse purchasers, section 1146 (c) tax exemptions, and sales to related parties.  Attend the Advanced Bankruptcy Institute and keep up-to-date in your business bankruptcy practice while networking with colleagues and members of the bench and bar.
