The Advanced Bankruptcy Institute is an advanced course addressing business bankruptcy issues. Join our outstanding faculty as they review developments in case law and bankruptcy rules in Maryland and on a national level, as well as several cutting edge issues affecting the business bankruptcy practitioner. A hypothetical fact pattern will be used to address a variety of issues that arise in a Chapter 11 filing including section 363 sales, debtor strategy, secured creditor strategy, second lien holder strategy, creditors committee strategy, bidding procedures/break up fee/stalking horse purchasers, section 1146 (c) tax exemptions, and sales to related parties.
